Joanna Sperska
Joanna Sperska got her MA degree from the Gdańsk Music Academy.
She attended numerous master courses with renowned pedagogues such as Adele Stolte, Christian Elssner (Germany), Els Bolke-Ste (Netherlands) and Renate Scotto and Katia Richiarelli (Italy).
She is the laureate of the 2nd Singing Competition Duszniki Zdrój and the 1st Award winner at W. A. Mozart Competition in Gdansk in Poland. She performed as soloist with the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, the Academic Orchestras of Gdansk and Wrocłav, as well as with the Chamber Orchestra of Tel-Aviv. From 1994 to 1997 she appeared as soloist of the Early Music Ensemble Capella Gedanensis in Germany, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Russia and Israel. She took part in the first performance of Mikis Theodorakis’ "Metamorphosis of Dionysus" at the European Week Festival in Passau. In 2001 she commenced her collaboration with the Płock Symphony Orchestra singing a very seldom performed Baroque programme for soprano and trumpet piccolo.
She performed chamber concerts in Poland, Tunis, Turkey (State Opera in Istanbul). Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Egypt, Slovenia and Croatia (Lisinski Hall).
She presently collaborates with the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk and the Bydgoszcz Opera. Since 1998 she has been represented by Culture Promotion Office, Gdańsk - Poland. |
